Easy Franchise Company Description

Launched last February 22, 2019, Easy Franchise is an innovative website that will help the Philippine franchise industry realize its P1.3 trillion revenue goal by 2020. It was founded by industry experts Potato Corner CEO Joe Magsaysay Jr., Mercato and Enter PH founder Rj Ledesma, and Beepbeep.ph CEO and Zomato PH former Country Head Anton Ojeda.

Easy Franchise leverages on technology to simplify the daunting tasks related to franchise investing, managing, and promoting business growth. Involving all stakeholders in the industry, such as the franchise owners (franchisors), investors (franchisees), associations, developers, and managers, the company aims to consolidate all operations in one platform to modernize and streamline the process of starting and applying for a franchise business.

“Through technology, there's a huge opportunity to grow the franchise industry. Several other sectors such as transport and energy have seen huge growth and development by introducing disruptive technology. Through Easy Franchise, we hope to support the whole industry in reaching its goal of moving past the P1.3-trillion mark in 2020,” Easy Franchise Co-Founder Joe Magsaysay Jr. said.
Easy Franchise, being an online platform that is open 24/7, makes the franchising industry accessible to all Filipinos, no matter where they are in the world. It was made specifically with overseas Filipino workers in mind, after realizing that they are an untapped market who have the capacity to start business investments and add a new revenue stream that can help ease the financial dependency on them. This passive income strategy can also aid in fast tracking their return to the country, a means to help them reunite with their families and learn valuable business skills.

Noticing, too, that franchising expos are few and far in between, Easy Franchise founders came up with the idea of creating an online directory where franchise groups can list their brands. The directory doubles as a marketing tool for them, a way to get investor leads without having to spend so much money and effort. To date, there are more than 1,000 franchise brands on the directory that have received more than 100 inquiries since the launch.

Franchise owners can list their brand for free, or subscribe to content packages that offer richer content on the listings, online franchise applications, and marketing support on Easy Franchise’s social media pages and blog.

Premium Listings are given priority blocking in the directory, with all features, such as rich content listing, location assistance, and Match Me, enabled for them. They also enjoy sponsored social media posts, a dedicated blog entry on Easy Franchise, and a film strip ad banner.

Basic Listings enjoy the same social media and blog benefits as premium listings, but have limited features. They only have a semi-rich content listing and Match Me activation.

The directory also allows users to apply for a franchise directly on the platform, only needing a couple clicks and a form to fill out to initiate the process. This saves the user so much time, seeing as they no longer have to drive to the franchise brand’s office to apply and submit documents personally.

Easy Franchise helps consumers by eliminating the need to search for legitimate franchise brands and making details about franchises available right on the platform. Users can search for brands by filtering them by industry and budget. Aside from that, they also have Match Me, a franchise matchmaking feature that suggests compatible brands based on the user’s preferred industry and budget.

“Our goal is to connect our franchise investors and buyers to the franchise system that would best suit their needs. We have partnered with a wide array of reputable franchise brands that will cater to the preferences of each franchise buyer,” Easy Franchise General Manager Bubbles Lim said.

Thinking of all the ways they could possibly help franchise investors, Easy Franchise will also launch a franchise management service soon. With this offering, investors can simply buy the franchise and pay a minimal fee to have professional businessmen handle the day-to-day operations of their franchise business.

Once they have acquired a franchise business through the platform, franchise investors can monitor their business through the in-site digital dashboard. This allows the investor to view their business’ status through their accounting feature that also aids in the simplification of tasks related to balancing business sheets.

“We are mindful of the simple yet cumbersome tasks that are related to owning a business through franchising. That is why we have created features in the Easy Franchise platform to make it easier for our franchise investors and ensure that their focus is on business growth and not just management,” Lim said.

Eventually, Easy Franchise plans to help business owners scale up their concepts into a franchising model through their Franchise Development service. The company’s partnership with the Philippines’ top franchise consultancies and associations—RK Franchise Consultancy Inc., Francorp, and U-Franchise—to make this happen.

Also in the pipeline of Easy Franchise is a merchant platform that allows franchise brands and suppliers to sell their products to Easy Franchise investors. Investors being able to order their inventory replenishments in just a few clicks not only eliminates the hassle of calling their respective franchise commissaries, it also helps the suppliers reach their clients easier—after all, all they need is a basic internet connection.

Easy Franchise can be accessed through the web address easyfranchise.com. For those who prefer to have a more personal way to contact the platform, users may opt to call the Easy Franchise hotline at (02) 285-3333, where contact center agents are always available to answer whatever franchising inquiry they may have.

In an effort to reach overseas Filipino workers faster, Easy Franchise will hold road shows in Dubai, the United States of America, and Singapore this year. There, the company’s founders and core members will speak to white collar OFWs and introduce the website and its features to them. They will also be bringing their franchise partners with them to help them gain as many leads as they can.

The Dubai roadshow will be supported by Power Technical Training Center. They will serve as Easy Franchise’s operating arm in the Middle East.

Before or after you get your own franchise business, you can attend Easy Franchise’s monthly workshops that give useful tips and professional insights on the franchising industry. Each workshop’s mentors from our newest partner brands will educate you on how to run and sustain a franchise business, with tutorials on proper marketing and customer service.
